entourage

Recently Ace and Alana paid us a visit. Just as I was feeling acclimated to real life and the real world post-baby, newlyweds show up. So rested. So free. So fit. They were married mere weeks ago and still travel via airplane and take naps. Did we ever live that life?  

Best friends for almost three decades

 They stayed with us one night then were nice enough to let us swim at their hotel pool the next day.  Quick detail I forgot to mention pre-pool -- we are a family of FIVE and require more than a bikini for pool days...my pool bag alone is the size of a small horse.

 Our entourage.  Ace was a good sport and even treated the boys to ice cream.  They looked like they'd never seen the stuff before.  They'd also never seen half naked women serve alcohol poolside, either, so...

This one couldn't release his grip from Alana when she first rang our doorbell.  It's a shame Ace got to her first.

Thanks for the visit, Allaks.  Maybe next time we'll leave the kids home...
