This year I sent out Christmas cards for the first time. I felt so festive and organized. Until dinner with some friends who informed me that ordering only 25 Christmas cards was weird and too few. No wonder it felt so fast and cheap. We ordered so few that I sent one to my mom and told my siblings to take a good look at hers because they weren't getting one.
You have to start somewhere.
So for those who didn't make the short, short list, here it is.

I feel so lucky that we got an actual one in the mail! It's seriously my favorite one we got!
Maybe I'll just try to print this one off so I can have a copy of my SISTER's christmas card since I didn't make the list this year. Hopefully I will make the list next year.
I like you even more for picking this photo for the card - It's my favorite from the session!
Kristi, great idea; print it off!
Sarah, glad we finally had a card to send back to you guys after years of us taking and taking.
Amy, our favorite, too. We have an 8x10 framed in our house. Just captures it all.
I loved how it was so natural. Christmas photos can be so uncomfortable and staged.
I feel so honored!
Thanks, Lindsey.
I also want to say that the short list consisted mostly of people who have been sending us cards for years with nothing in return. We've loved receiving them and wanted to finally send something back.
Kristi, for example, has NEVER sent me a Christmas card. THAT...will get you on the list. Maybe.
