Quick poll

Please help us out.

Santa is having a hard time deciding if Santa wraps
presents or has them set up and ready to
go Christmas morning...

What do you think? Settle this please.

It depends on the type of present and who it is for. If it's a smaller present for one of your children, you definitely want to wrap it. I would wrap any present for Tod. If it is a big item like a bike, having it set up any ready to go is just as good. No wrapping necessary. But if the big item has a unique shape, it may be fun to wrap it if it still obvious what it is when wrapped.

Sant doesn't wrap his gift for our house! Its fun to see what Santa left out for them. I remember when I was a kid and I would be the first up in the morning and I loved seeing what he brought me instead of waiting for the whole family to get together before we opened! Good luck and merry Christmas!

Our main gift and stocking stuffers were not wrapped; everything else was. I wish I had a way to show you some of our videos from past Christmases. My parents could have been professional christmas planners.

set up and ready to go. No question. Plus you don't want your kids asking why Santa has the same wrapping paper as you.

First off, you buy "santa paper" so gifts from him are wrapped differently. Second, wrap what you can, half the excitement is the opening of the gifts. If it is large in size I think having it upwrapped is great, maybe hide it a little so they see if after. My mom and dad didn't wrap my Air Hockey table and it was still awesome to see Christmas morning. Do a little medley.

Santa doesn't wrap gifts at our house. I enjoy saving the couple dollars on wrapping. And I use the time I would have spent wrapping and cleaning up after the unwrapping to eat chocolate (bought with the money I saved on wrapping) and watch A Christmas Story.

Santa gifts are different paper with a cute Santa Tag and the big items (bike, new doll, scooter etc) are unwrapped.
I like magical, but unwrapping is the most fun part!

I've always wrapped the small gifts in a different wrapping paper and left the bigs gifts out. My hubby always argues that all Santa gifts should be left unwrapped, but the kids love to unwrap things so I wrap them anyway.

I'm a firm believer that Santa gifts should be ready to rock n' roll.

Santa always wrapped every present at our house. EVERYTHING.. even a new tooth brush in our stocking. It made it way fun. We all took turns opening a present at a time so on years when money was tight we still had lots to unwrap with all the items in our stocking. Every child had their own wrapping paper design. So on Christmas morning we would each have a small stack of presents with our stocking set up against it. I have started this tradition in our house already.. Although I kinda went overboard with the wrapping for Sofia as I am going to have to just unwrap all her stuff. It will make for a nice photo-op. I know I am a total nut job. oh well.

Ditto to what Stone Cold said.

Wrap, no question about it for me. Opening the gifts is half the fun. It is definitely a sacrifice, I literally spent a half of a day of my life wrapping, but if it makes Christmas better for my kids, I'll do anything.

Did you find out what you are having? The suspense is killing me...but I get the feeling you're not telling! Mad respect.

Thanks for the input. We couldn't settle it because growing up, Santa didn't wrap presents...they were laid out and ready for us Christmas morning. At Tod's house, Santa wrapped. So..just trying to get some ideas.

Carey, we are not finding out what we're having. We have never found out so I figured why start now? If I knew, I would be telling everyone, don't worry.
