It only took six weeks but the day finally arrived. After a month and a half of avoidance I woke up with a burst of energy. I started the morning in the garage where I organized, swept, arranged and stacked. It was only 8 am. I took that momentum into my closet where I unpacked my suitcase, hung all the clothes, started a load of laundry and even pulled everything off my shelves and refolded for a crisper look.
Is anyone still reading this.
Next was the playroom. I put all the books into their baskets and the toys into their bins then put the train set back together (for the 11 millionth time) and vacuumed. Hmmm, already vacuuming, might as well do the upstairs. Then I noticed the boys' laundry hadn't been put away so I did it in record speed. Went downstairs and saw a few crumbs so I brought down the vacuum and finished the house. Pine Sol-ed the counters and floors then decided it was time to buy a new iron. Went to Target for an iron and came home with an iron, Lennon's Halloween costume and new bedding. Washed all my new sheets then plugged in my hardcore iron. Pulled pillowcases out of the dryer and pressed each one. Pulled mattress off my box springs, threw away old bedskirt and pressed new one, then replaced. Put new, clean bedding on the bed then vacuumed again because all the lines were messed up.
I am not this anal; just starting my second trimester.
Wait until you see what my first trimester looked like. I have pictures. And there was no iron/vacuum/clean anything involved.
Two will become three in the beginning of April 2012. Yikes.
Sorry it's sideways. I'd fix it but I used all my energy ironing this weekend. |

I was actually thinking about texting you the other day, because I had a feeling this was coming. I've heard three is the game changer. Thinking about three right now makes me want to punch myself where I wouldn't be able to procreate. I can't wait for you to let me know how this goes. Congrats. I would love to see what a girl does to the mix.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can be jealous that I'm in school, and I can be jealous that you're having a baby.
xoxoxo!
Congratulations! I can't wait to hear about the stories of boy #3. Hee hee. (Or, I guess that would be boy #4 if you are including Tod.)
CONGRATS!!!!!!! :)
Yay! Congratulations. I have also heard #3 is a game changer and I am scared to death, so we decided to be content and finished with two. We are wusses...you are awesome!
Wowsers...congrats!!! This new little one is so lucky to have such a cool mom!
Congrats Holly. Sounds like your starting the nesting early :)
AWESOME! Can't wait to watch the personality of #3 unfold! Congrats.
Three kids (for me) feels insane!! I can't wait to hear about it from you. haha!! I'm sure it will be hilarious. Congrats!!
yay babies! congrats mama!
Congrats! Three is amazingly fulfilling for me, if I wasn't so old I would have another! Don't get me wrong, sometimes I want to run away from home, but at the end of the day ...two just felt lame!
Congratulations! I don't know about the game changing thing...because I only have a dog, but it makes sense. Now you and your husband are going to have to switch to a zone defense. No more man-man. You're outnumbered. :)
You are one of my funniest friends, seriously. Congratulations, I bet you're super cute pregnant!
Thanks for all the support. Ryan, I will say that you're in the hardest part right now...with the boys a little older it's so manageable...so I decided to mess it all up now that it's finally gotten fun and easier. Why not add to the chaos.
YES! Congrats. Now lets just pray Tod isn't in the slammer for one of those speeding tickets when you go into labor...
So exciting... Congrats!!
Congrats! Three is hard at first, and then a breeze. You'll love it!
I'm so excited about this! Can't wait for you guys... I'm thinking a Wever woman is on the way...
