Yesterday I was sitting at a red light listening to Christmas music. People were walking on sidewalks with Christmas presents and the intersection was decorated. Everyone seemed joyful. And the only thought running through my head was:
"You're all going to be dead someday."
What is wrong with me.

Holly, some things you just shouldn't say out loud. But I'm really, really glad you do.
Hahahahaha. You crack me up. But so does the Grinch. And cowbells. And off-key singing. And wrinkles. Okay, not wrinkles. What I'm trying to say is that I like you.
You need help.
I might have thought the same thing but added "jack***"
Holly, I am so happy that I found your blog (Leah's)! I normally blog about all the happy and pretty. Thanks for being honest and making the rest of us smile and laugh. Can I be your "Blost Friend"?
I recall a conversation YOU started over THANKSGIVING about how you imagine people in your life dying and you have a certain group of people you can see dying and a certain group of people you can't see dying. I was in the first group. You're twisted. At least you're honest I guess?
Amy - you're welcome.
Erica - I like you too.
Mom - Apple doesn't fall far.
KTB - I believe it.
Tiffany - Blost friends forever; good to see you!
Kristi - Sorry you're in the first group.
You should share more "car thoughts" because MY car thoughts just seem shallow by comparison.
-what to cook for dinner
-what frustrated me at work
-things to complete on my list of things to do...
definitely NOT as deep or thought provoking as yours.
If I voiced my inner-dialogue (more than I do) I don't know if I'd have friends-I may not even be a positive person. I have a friend who consistently thinks of what he'll say at people's funerals...so you may not be alone. I'm intrigued by this list of people you can see dying. I have that same list...but with divorce. :) Merry Christmas
Meegan - I'd say I'm morbid, not deep.
Ryan - Of course you have a divorce list.
I knew there was a reason why I liked you.
o please, we are like soul sisters. I have had these thoughts: how many people here take anti depressants?
I bet that guy cheats on his wife.
How many of my friends marriages will last longer than 5 years?
I could go on and on really.
I have ramdom morbid thoughts too. Often while driving I'll think, "If I just turned the steering wheel really hard to the right (or left) what whould happen?" I TOTALLY get you. Are you a little scared?
I get it Holly. All I've done lately is go to funerals ...
I'm in the first group right?
