Lennon played in the grass today. I turned my back for two seconds and then back around to find him....licking grass.
He immediately acted like no, he wasn't LICKING the grass, just checking its texture and length.
I told him, "Lennon, I saw you licking the grass. We don't lick grass, we walk on it and roll in it."

Then I told him I was going to blog about this and he got really upset.
He looked at me like, "Is there NO privacy in my life?"

Maybe he was checking the texture and length... Extra cute post/pics! I will miss you this weekend!
i love this, especially that first picture where you can see how amazed he is by it. and you're hilarious.
and thanks for being my friend despite my blasphemous political views!
Okay, I didn't say blasphemous, Hilary just makes me want to vomit. Repeatedly.
Plus, I think she's a man. Maybe.
Okay, Katie and I have a confession. We are addicted to Lennon. He has seriously made us rethink our "five year plan" to a "4.75 year plan" (which not even katie's nephew could do) then to "one year plan". He's that freaking cute.
Oh and I agree about Hilary. That girl needs a makeover so bad and don't even get me started about her hai... Man, I need more guy friends.
Oh and, P.S., I found Daniqua's MySpace page. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=35497520
HE IS SOOO DANG CUTE!
And Holly, you should write a book...you're gifted.
And, I like his jacket ... what a stylish little man. Can't believe it fits him already.
Miss you guys ... keep blogging, WE LOVE IT!!

Holly,
Perhaps you could simply appreciate the inquisitive nature of the boy and not scold him for his curiosity.
I love the real estate sign in the background…very appropriate for current conditions.
When I say this...and I'm not kidding...we've gotten 3 feet of snow in the past 4 or 5 days. I'm up to my hips at any given point in the Valley despite my lusciously longs legs...and you post pix of your child frolicking in grass!
It's not my fault you won't move here...if you knew what was good for you, I'd see your little family at my doorstep tomorrow morning.
You could buy any of the many houses in our neighborhood that are bank-owned. Nice.
I love how they explore the world! It's so fun to watch them.
Hmmm ... maybe I could talk grandpa into retiring and buying house on your street so we could be convenient
"grandma/grandpa/babysitters on call". Tod would probably hate that...but I'd LOVE IT~!!
Little Lennon looks so puckered up and sad ... I just want to kiss him sooo bad! He just needs his mittens off mom so he can have a touchy-feely moment. Otherwise, a guy's got to do what he's got to do.
Love, Grandma Carol
It makes me sick that you can actually see your grass. Another reason we should move to Vegas.
